import new custom icons

9 years later, and this is still the ugliest, most generic collection of icons currently available in a program. Who writes this code? Even JAVA can do custom icons...

This was a big thing for me because I use windows in INVERTED COLOUR mode so all the icons look wrong. To correct it I edited the icons.py to invert all embedded images.
You need Python install and download source code version of TaskCoach and replace the file e.g.
C:\Program Files (x86)\TaskCoach-1.4.3\taskcoachlib\gui\icons.pyWith the file here:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bw4RtQYx8BukSkU0VzhsQXFoMXcAll the images/icons in TaskCoach are Base64 encoded, rather than separate file, which makes editing and adding images tricky to say the least!

This seriously needs to be added. It has been 5 years and it makes TaskCoach unappealing to a lot of people.
The fact the icons are embedded is bad enough but they are all base64 encoded as well and it is just bad design.
Then to compound that with the fact that the icons are all terrible and should seriously be changed.
1. Default icons are ugly
2. Icons are embedded into the code
3. Icons are base64 encoded
4. This request was made 5 years ago.I mean come on this is absurd. I never bothered to try TaskCoach because the design of the app is so ugly and now that I have ignored that I do like the app but I would also like to look at it without hating every second of it.

would be nice, because the standard icons are not everybody's favourites
may also be provided in the form with restrictions in size and color deep -
