@Frank: show both separately and add an option to (un)hide. For instance:
1) Both start date and due dates are showed:
Monday

Unfortunately, this is a showstopper for me. Currently, I have 2419 tasks in TaskCoach (including all subtasks) while for my work this is a very low number of tasks (in high season I would have about 7200 tasks). Hence, the current version is not a solution for me...I hope the speed issue will get fixed in the near future so that I can start using this TaskCoach.
