In release 1.3 all changes will be immediate, so no risk of losing changes by hitting Escape.

Hi Pascal,
Thanks, I understand it better now. You mean the tabs of the notebook in the task edit dialog. However, if we would put the whole name of a subtask on the notebook tab, each tab would take much more horizontal space. This would mean that only one or two tabs could be shown at the same time. Do you have a suggestion to counter that potential issue?
Thanks, Frank

Hi Frank, well, on Mac there is always only one tab per task edit window.
Isn't it the case on other platforms?
Even with Windows, see Task editor with recurring task (release 0.71.2 on Windows XP) on http://www.taskcoach.org/screenshots.html.
So you can be long as you want.
HTH, Pascal.

Long descriptions never take more than four lines in the viewers, starting release 1.0.3.

Hi, I've just downloaded 1.0.3 release for MacOSX, waiting for it.
Thanks for adding long descriptions in a text control, it is really better for my usage. I hope for other users too.
Just one point, the width size of the text control doesn't want to follow when you want to resize the description column.
Minor point, the text color stays black even for past task or finished task, same for background color.
Also you can select text, copy and past, may be interesting or may be unwanted ;-)
Thanks again, Pascal.

Hi, didn't know this feature. Well... Good question.
A tradeoff could be :
- when editing only one task : display full pathname
- when editing two or more tasks : display task name
What is your feedback?
Best, Pascal.
