Open .tsk file stored on iphone
I keep my desktop task list in Dropbox, so it appears my iphone through the dropbox folder. But I cannot get it from there into the iphone ap.
It would be very helpful if the iphone app could open that .tsk file in the iphone version. In addition, pressing the .tsk file in the dropbox app could then launch taskcoach and open the file. Any time the file changes, it could be automatically updated in taskcoach.
This would allow easy syncing across all platforms.
Keep up the good work!31 votes -
Add some full cloud sync system
That would allow us to sync when not on the same network.
Dropbox or OwnCloud or whatever service, if that could be feasible23 votes -
Sync iPhone and iPad apps with each other
Now you have to sync each with desktop. In alternative, sync iPhone and iPad to a remote syncml server - especially useful when you forget to sync with desktop
Better than everything, sync desktop iPhone and iPad with dropbox21 votes -

Need Notes support
I know this is hard, but task coach is really an awesome tool and the tasks as well as the notes go hand in hand for me.
I know adding the notes feature is hard. Would there be anyway to couple taskcoach notes with the iPhone notes to make it easier. I basically want an easy way to pop back and forth between tasks and notes when I'm in meetings. The desktop app is just awesome for doing this.

Auto sync with iPhone
Currently you have to manually initiate a sync with an iPhone (which many people forget to do). How about being able to set the app to sync periodically according to some parameters such as:
- at specific times during the day.
- every X hours.
- desktop initiates sync b4 closing app.13 votes -
Don't use handwriting font
The handwriting font used on the Ipad reduces readability

Increase font size for task descriptions.
The current font as displayed is hard to read on the tiny iPod screen.

One-click Effort Tracking
I would like to have a button to track effort directly from the task list. Right now I have to click through 3 levels to start tracking a task effort. I would love to have a quicker and more stream-lined way to instantly track a task.

Option to remove icons to fit more tasks on one screen
At best you can see 8 tasks on the screen, currently. It would be nice to have the option to see more.

Enable Iphone/Ipad/Ipod sync with memotoo like OSX version
If you have your windows pc on a corporate network, that isn't part of the same network as your Mac og Iphone, you can't sync. Why have a sync option on the Mac version, and not be able to sync the iphone the same way?

Ability to view, add, edit effort description on IOS version
within IOS you can see the effort times (date, start and end) but you can't see any effort descriptions. This would make the IOS a lot more useful

Option to not start new tasks on iOS
I'd like to use Task Coach in a Kanban (or scrum) mode where entering a new task just adds it to a backlog, but does not start it.

Subtasks under different category than parent task
When you select a category in the categories section, any subtask having a parent task under a different category is not being shown.
Please add the functionality to show task of even a different category if it contains sub tasks under the selected category.

I'd like to use Task Coach in a Kanban (or scrum) mode where entering a new task just adds it to a backlog, but does not start it.
The preferences are there for not starting new tasks on the desktop, but this should also be added to the iPhone app.
