Task should be added to parent category if not defined

Should have added more detail to clarify this. Chris is correct. If TaskCoach does not have a category it does not get synced to the iphone, even though it's parents task has a category. I suppose this is all to do with task/sub tasks management.

Okay, I think I understand. I'll see if I can somehow fix this for the next upgrade, but if it proves too difficult it'll just have to wait for 2.0. Which may come out sooner than expected, if all goes well.

I think the person means that if you have sub-tasks, they do not appear on the category in the iPhone app. It is rather strange. The Iphone shoud flatten the tasks and sub-tasks. This is probably the best intermediate step to keep users happy until the sub-category feature.

Err, I don't understand what you mean. If it's that the default category for a new task should be the currently viewed category, it's already the case.
