  1. View only by category without task. Add sum by columns: time, budget, profit etc. by category.

    Its useful to analyse by category in different tasks.

  2. Multiple task tabs with separated filters

    I want to have different tabs and a different view in each one.

    For example, one tab with the tasks for today, one tab with the tasks with the label 'Boss', one tab with the tasks with the label 'pending of X', etc.

    The name of the tab would be editable.

  3. Autosave does not secure your data if your computer blacks out

    I lost all my work due to a computer blackout, even with autosave activated. I think that is a very important point.

  5. Ctrl-ENTER means job is done. Need Ctrl-Shift-ENTER on "done-job" job due date is yesterday

    Assume I have "ok"ed my job using ctrl-Enter. After I find out, wrong task so I could "reload" the old one...

  8. Priority Setting for Categories

    I would like to suggest a priority setting and sorting for categories. For me, the category is the project and the tasks are the steps it takes to get the project done. In oder to stay focused and well organized, I need not only the tasks sorted by priority, but the projects/categories too.

    Allow Breadcrumbbar navigation to show only a subtree instead of the full data. This helps you focusing on a single project.

  11. Column summing up all efforts of a task including all subtasks

    Show the complete sum of all efforts of a task and its subtasks in a simple way.
    The effort window sums up per month at maximum. And I have to select each relevant task, to see its sum for a range of time there.
    An additional column in the task window besides "budget/effort" named something like "budget/complete effort" or "effort sum" and showing the effort of each task including its subtasks would simplify my freelancer life enormously ... ;-)

  12. Remove Icon - quick button in the pane near "Mark task complete" which sets "No Icon" to the marked tasks

    Hello, my suggestion is simple. I am a person who uses "Red Label" as a way to mark critical tasks which are more important than others. My job is such that I have project tasks and ones without due date.

    Often, when I complete a task and click the "Mark as Completed", the Red label icon doesn't get removed. I have to Edit the Task manually, browse to Apperance and switch to No Icon which takes me 4-5 seconds to do.

  13. Que repetir tenga la opcion cada tantos dias, por ejemplo cada 20 dias

    para programar una tareas que ese necesario repetirla, seria bueno que tenga la opción cada tantos días, viendo cada cuanto se repite la misma tarea le numero días de repetición se puede ir afinando manualmente, gracias

  16. Single Reminder Window

    If reminders could come up in a table format instead of individual pop-ups for each it would be a huge help. Sometimes you want to leave the multiple reminders open but to move them out of your way, so they don't block you screen view, you have to move them one at a time. This is awkward and time consuming.

  18. Highlighting+detailing the running task without looking into Task Coach

    I would love to see this ticking clock, appearing as the TaskCoach icon when minimized to system tray, (more) highlighted/salient on my screen.
    --> Having the ticking clock icon as symbol also in the task bar shown, would already fulfill the job.

    And a strong improvement on top of that feature would be, if instead of the ticking clock there would be shown the specific choosen icon of the running TaskCoach task. This would be fantastic!

    Thanks, btw, for that very great opensource software!

    From time to time a pop-up window Asks us, "What are you doing?" And let us to fill an Activity track on a Task.
