Set default columns for exporting to csv, html etc...
First of thank you developers! for creating this amazing and very useful software. I'd like to suggest a feature that you can be able to set a default columns everytime I'm exporting the task to a csv, html etc.. Here is the popup modal that I'm referring http://screencast.com/t/o3Nr20iJg0. I hope that this can be a helpful for the improvement of the software."Don't complain if it is FREE software. Show percentage completion in parent task
If you have two sub tasks:
- one 25% and one 50% then 37.5% for parentIf you add a third sub task that has not been started yet:
- parent: 25%If 25% of the third one is done:
- parent: 33.33%How I would do it (at least):
- 2 x 100% = 200 => (25+50) * 100 / 200 = 37.5%
- 3 * 100% = 300 => (25+50) * 100 / 300 = 25%
- 3 * 100% = 300 => (25+25+50) * 100 / 300 = 33.33%and so on (hope I have not miscalculated)…

Do not stop a tracking effort when starting a new one
I work on a CNC 3D printer at home and like to keep on tracking my personal time while tracking the machine run time. I found I can track multiple efforts at once by editing the effort and unchecking the "stop". However, this is somewhat laborious. It would be great if you could have multiple tracking efforts going and then when you click the stop button it would give you the options: "stop tracking all", "stop tracking [subtask 1]", "stop tracking [subtask 2]", etc... This would also be a way to track multiple workers on the same task. Each task…

Adding custom columns
Aside the possibility to arrange the order of my columns I'd like to see also the feature to add my own columns. The predefined set is nice, however, I'd like to have a column like ticket number, etc. This is because tasks I organize for myself on my desktop may have a reference to an external System like Jira or Mantis.

Customize task states
Currently there's inactive, active, complete. I would like the option to add a new state and choose a color for the circle. Ex: I'd like to add "awaiting reply" as yellow and "Shipped/In the mail" as orange. Just like you can hide all inactive tasks you should be able to hide each custom task state

Ignore reminders when defined OS processes are open.
Ignore reminders when defined OS processes are open and make
them appear when all defined processes are closed.There are times I play multiplayer fullscreen games, reminders normally makes the game minimize, this can be annoying in many ways. Having to manually close TaskCoach before starting a game can make I miss to open TaskCoach again.
When ignoring tasks, TaskCoach should only ignore tasks in list, not all of them, so that it is possible to separate the ones you can skip for some time from the ones you really should start at reminder's time.

show final hourly rate as fixed fee/hours spent
As a freelance translator, rates are determined according to word count, so jobs are always different "fixed fees". It would be great to add a simple fixed fee/hours column to know automatically the hourly rate for different jobs, and hence compare and know which ones are more profitable.

categories: keyboard input with completion
I suggest you provide an alternate method to the check/uncheck for the categories that would be similar to the tag management ui of nixnote/evernote.
The idea would be to assign categories for a task by typing a list of categories separated by a specific sep char (like ";" or ",") with the assistance of a completion system.
While the category system of taskcoach is very nice, I find the scrolling/checking/unchecking UI to be rather slow when (as in my case) there are a lot of categories to handle.

make priority (optionally) derive from subtasks and dependants
I want my projects get their priority based on their subtasks.
The problem is, that a high rated subtask in a low prio task may get lost out of view. Also if I have a task with high priority depending on another low prioritized task.
As this is a behaviour special to the kind of using the priority this should be optiional and configurable.

Effort expended over a period report:
Create a report that indicates which tasks have been worked over a period and how many hours were spent on each task. Create the pattern as monthly work report and allow changing the start and end of the period measurement effort.1 vote -

kanban display (3 columns)
in kanban you have 3 columns (or more) to do, in progress and completed. is it possible to have such display or is it possible to add such view feature? it's different than simple hiding incompleted tasks.
