  1. I'd like to set a target progress for a task. E.g. I have 23 documents to process and I'd like to be able to switch between "I've done 17 of 23" and "I'm at 74%" view of progress.

Create a subtask for each document and the parent task will show you the percentage complete (turn on the percentage complete column and collapse the parent task to see it).

By default the parent task will count itself as one of the tasks todo, so if you have a task with two subtasks, one of which is completed, the parent task will show 33% completed. If you don’t want that you can change the “mark task completed when all children are completed” setting in the progress tab of the task edit dialog.

  2. Since the TaskCoach development team is very fast in developing and releasing new application versions, an included Update-Manager would be a great addition to the TaskCoach application.

It would reduce time to download and re-install the application significantly and would improve user experience.

  5. The current (1.3.2) effort viewer only presents a chronological listing. The current Calendar only shows tasks. I would like a calendar presentation of all the efforts I have worked on over a given month.

  6. Hi, it is a great tool!

I think it will be a good ideia to include the Task id, Responsable and applicant fields.

  7. When switching efforts using the system tray right-click menu, it would be extremely helpful to have a Most Recently Used list at the top with a couple of items, to avoid having to traverse a possibly deep hierarchy when switching between a few well hidden tasks. As for naming the items, I would personally prefer to use just the effort title without the ancestry and live with the possible ambiguity but others may have another view on that.

  8. Please add the Feature, to set an Budget globaly as default-value.
Maybe another solution is to automaticly extend all Budget-Values for Subtasks.
It drive me crazy to reset the Budget again and again for each subtask.
