Just a simple default task-folder as a kind of "Inbox"
When something to do gets into my mind, i most of the time just want to quickly name it and put in an "In-Box". So, I suggest TaskCoach would allow me define a folder as default, so that prior to organization, all tasks would be automatically stored there. This method is simple and helpful and, if automated, would make TaskCoach a very effective program.

I like how this works in Things. I've decided that dumping stuff in an inbox is actually a bad idea though. However, sometimes I need to just jot a note as quickly as possible with no time to do any sorting at all.
A system-wide quick-entry that just goes to a holding place INBOX would be nice.In the mean time, I can use Things or some other quick note-taking program for this and just move the notes to Task Coach later…

But in the interim you can accomplish this manually. Simply define a category as Inbox and then add your new task as usual and assign it to the Inbox category then when you are ready to organize the new tasks you have captured you can check Inbox to see the tasks you've added and need to organize.
