Let user customize toolbars
It would be great to customize toolbars. Every user could simplify the program interface to his needs. There are too many repetitive icons while working with several windows. A single main toolbar could play a big role in this idea. Thanks!
Customizable toolbars are now included as of v. 1.3.21!
Some new toolbar buttons are now available and more will be added in the future.
Giving the toolbars customized or variable size icons is going to be a separate issue though.

I'd like to be able to add filters to a toolbar so I can turn on/off visibility of all the task states (active, inactive, overdue,... categories, etc.) with a single click.

Yes, it would be totally cool and productivity boosting if one could use one's own icon sets. I would be able to make some for easter, for instance. And halloween and christmas, of course! And some glossy ones, some aqua and techno.
And yes, a feature for adjusing the icon sizes would be great!
I really do love this idea!

It would be good to arrange the buttons, search boxes, etc.. in the way each user needs

I do like that idea of customizing the maintool bar by adding or deleting buttons. I think it would be nice to have the option of making a new button out of any menu item. I really don't care one way or another about the icons. I'm fond of the default set and think that small, medium and large sizes suffice for options.
