Monetize this somehow for your sake and that of your users
So, this isn't a feature request but just a thought which I'm sure you've considered, but which I would like to submit to the community as well.
People like free things. However, what people like more than free things are things which are lasting and reliable. The development on TaskCoach as been amazing. I can't find its equal. There are paid alternatives, most if not all of which are very expensive.
You have a large user base who love this software. Millions of users. Monetizing TaskCoach could be as simple as developing official mobile apps. This could mean the difference between the few hundred euros per year donations and an income that could fuel full-time development on the operation.
Another option is a small yearly fee. Like I said, alternatives are extremely expensive. However, Gqueues for instance, charges $25 per year. Donations are great, but until they reach critical mass, they don't necessarily contribute to the devs' ability to focus on the development and furtherance of the app.
Because TaskCoach already has a large userbase, monetization can exact a very small fee from users.
Furthermore, it's ok if it's still open source. Synergy is an open source application, and yet people still pay for the compiled version - it's only $10, who wouldn't?
If this receives enough upvotes, perhaps that can be an indication to the devs - http://i.imgur.com/UU2dM.gif (Shut up and take my money!!)

I have been thinking the same thing.
I spent last week reviewing project/task management options - I trialed Freedcamp, Bitrix24, Asana, 2-Plan Desktop, Trello... and finally found Task Coach which, for my needs, easily beat out the competition and it's free.
I would happily pay for a lifetime license to support development
