option to open effort on stop to add description
After stop tracking, i can only edit a effort descriptions by opening the task and selecting the effort.
A better option is open (optional per configuration) the effort automatically after stop tracking, so the description can entered directly.

Thanks for the clarification. I agree some way of engaging the dialog as part of starting or stopping an effort while using the system tray is a reasonable idea.

i start a new effort using the SysTray then i stop the effort using my right mouse button on the SysTray (because short cut shift+ctrl+t only works if TaskCoach is shown as window) after the effort is stopped no dialog appears...

You may already have what you want. You can start effort-tracking with cntrl-E and it automatically opens the editor, which can be left open to add notes before or after you stop the effort. NOTE: cntrl-E adds an effort but doesn't automatically stop previous efforts.
Secondly, if you create an effort viewer (View>New Viewer), you can more easily access the efforts to quickly open them and add descriptions. I do this myself. The one missing feature is the ability to edit the description in line by showing the description column in the viewer. This is something we already considered but is not supported by the underlying framework as currently set up, so it will be a lot of work. But this is the way I want it to be eventually.
Cheers,
Aaron
