A Suse 64 bit rpm version would be really great
A Suse 64 bit rpm version would be really great. I upgraded system(long over due), and I didn't realise until today that there wasn't a 64 bit version. A great pity. If I could run the 32 bit version somehow, I would. Thanks

@Jérôme Of course RPM supports noarch packages.
@Aaron 32-bit software can be runned for all 64-bit Operating Systems with appropriate 32bits libraries etc., but Python programs are Arch independant. -

The RPM is pure Python anyway so a 64 bits package would have exactly the same files. I don't remember if RPM supports 'noarch' packages...

I don't understand how suse works, but I'm on Ubuntu 64-bit and I can run any 32-bit software. Is it really the case that you can't run 32-bit software in your 64-bit suse system?
