Usability enhancements for adding Efforts
It would be very useful that TaskCoach could be used as a punch-in clock for registering efforts, but it's pretty cumbersome to do it now because there are no shortcuts, and it takes so many clicks and inputs to create an Effort. By assigning shortcuts to New Effort and to Stop Tracking Effort, and by fine-tuning the default values for Start and Stop time, this should be easy to fix. The default value for Start time should probably be equal to the last Stop time, and the default value for stop should be Now (but the Stop checkbox should be unchecked by default). Also, the combo box for both times results in a list of times that is always around 8AM (in Linux at least), but it should be sometime around the suggested default value. Furthermore, the Task combo box should memorize how to show the tree view of all Tasks, so that it is always shown expanded in the same way as was last used (now the tree is always shown collapsed, no matter what we've done with it before while creating other Efforts).
This is a lot of requests all at once. The majority if not all of these are now possible. Please add new requests (or search for existing others) for each specific idea if you feel they are still lacking with the latest version of TC. Thanks!

A shortcut would be great for editing the counting effort as well. This would speed up leaving comment on an effort.
