Offer customizeable column widths for printing and for views
I am currently focusing on the Subject column, but the request could be useful on all columns. I'm editing my "Subject" text trying to prevent word wrap because word wrap doesn't honor the indent and makes the printed report look messy. When I shorten the text where word wrap occurs the column automatically resets to yet a narrower width and subsequently pushes other lines into word wrap. It would be great to be able to set the column width to a fixed value.

Thaks for the response, You're right, I can turn auto resize on/off in the pull down menu and I can click-and-drag to change column widths in the viewer, but none of this seems to translate over to printing. To clarify my problem ... It appears that column resizing is not shut off in printing and it does not seem to increase column width for all cells but forces text wrap for the longest text string(s). Or maybe there is a fixed maximum width. Sub tasks indent from the left margin. When the text string exceeds the allowable colum width it wraps down to the next line but this second line starts at the far left margin rather than starting at the same indent position as the beginning of the text string. I hope this helps.

I hope you are aware that you can turn off automatic column resizing in the normal viewer, and you can adjust each column to whatever width you like. How this relates to printing is more complex. Please clarify thanks
EDIT: thanks for the response. Indeed, this makes it clear how improvements are needed
