Reminder window getting focus
Please have an option to make the reminders window get the screen focus when Task Couch is minimised to tray or task bar.

even if it is annoying for some to have the reminder window popping up and grabbing the focus, for me and others is very helpful, so if you can give us the option to select one way or another, we'll be very grateful, I'm sure. I am trying to find an alternative to reminderfox (I'm very used to it), and I find task coach very intersting. I just need the pop up reminders! pretty please??? thanks!

I don't think it's bad practice if an application grabs focus without the user doing anything If I want to use the reminder it's precisely because I as a human suck at remembering and organizing stuff so I want to make the software do this for me. What's the point if I have to remember to check the reminder windows that are minimized? I'd rather directly remember the tasks they refer to themselves.
The other thing is that it's useful when I'm not directly sitting in front of the PC and I'm doing other stuff while listening to podcasts/videos (to further multitask). A window getting focus will be more noticeable to me when I check the screen from afar from time to time, and a sound reminder (yes I know it's a separate request but it's in the same vein of ideas) will make me more likely to check it in time.
Thanks for the software anyway, I'll be keeping an eye on it..

Alarm sound with reminders is a separate request:

I've just realised it's not doing it any more... I upgraded to 11.04 a couple of days ago and hated Unity so I've just moved from Gnome to KDE and it's stopped stealing the focus.

Strange, the reminders don't steal focus on my Ubuntu 10.10.

In Ubuntu 10.10 and 11.04 this is exactly what task coach is doing Frank! It would be good to have an option set to turn this behaviour on and off... and to ensure that this doesn't occur when not wanted.
I keep marking tasks complete whilst filling in spreadsheets or composing emails. I am coming to fear pressing tab and return in case a task coach reminder pops up and grabs the focus and I wrongly mark something complete which is not.

But it would be nice if the reminder windows gets focus if you go to TaskCoach! Now I specifically have to click in the window to change the focus and click any buttons (after I made a change to the reminder options). Also it would be convenient to be able to reschedule reminders in bulk.

In general, it is considered bad practice if an application grabs focus without the user doing anything. Suppose you're composing an email message and suddenly the reminder window pops up and grabs the focus so you're now typing into the reminder window. That would be annoying, right?
