Duplicate recurrent task when done
When a non-recurrent task is completed, it is left in the list and calendar as a record. But when a recurring task is completed, its dates are automatically changed according to the recurrence settings, and there is no record of what action was taken when.
For example, I must change change my car's oil every year, and i want to keep record of when it was done over the years. There could be a checkbox in the task's Recurrence block to set a "Duplicate task when completed" property.
Thank you, Florian

Feel free to vote for that request.
But anyway, I think logging of completions can be done better without making extra copies of tasks (see my comment).

I STRONGLY disagree with the idea of creating a duplicate, but I strongly *agree* with the idea of logging the completion.
So, the way I see it, efforts should have a new parameter that records whether the task was marked complete at the end of the effort, and this can be maintained even when the task itself is returned to inactive. In this mode, all recurring tasks will have zero-time efforts added with the completion box marked unless the task was being tracked already, and then it will be added to the last effort.

I agree with this request. I think this funcionality needs to be added. Thanks
