command to move subtask out from parent (and vice versa)
Now with drag and drop it is rather not working precisely or easily. There should be an easier command or icon to click to move a task out from a parent or into a parent.

Edit last effort from system tray
It would be useful to be able to edit the last or the currently running effort from a menu choice in the system tray. I use the effort description field a lot in taskcoach as I can generate weekly reports from this. I currently go to an effort viewer and select the last effort there to record what I have just done for a given task. Having a menu choice to edit the last effort would be very convienient.

search completed tasks even when filtered out
I normally keep my suspended and closed tasks hidden from view. However I frequently have to re-open (e.g. add a new effort) to a task I thought was complete.
It would be nice if the search field had an option to "search hidden tasks". This way I could keep the main Taskcoach view relatively uncluttered, yet still be able to quickly locate stuff I've shelved.

Show similarly named tasks when creating a new one
It would be useful if TaskCoach showed similarly named tasks when creating a new one.
I imagine it functioning like a search engine's "find as you type" list or auto-completion in a software developing IDE.
I often find myself creating several tasks covering the same basic thing, usually with slightly different wording, because I've forgotten or can't find the existing one. Then because I want them grouped properly in my end of month/year summary I need to merge them and their efforts together.

Right clicking on task to send report, with price and time.
When task is completed, it should be possible to send a report through right click email function. The email contains Time and Price info already pasted in the email. As it is today it just opens a new email.

The ability to reset the effort time from the task window toolbar would be helpful.

Seach option includes the notes Pane
It would be nice if the search field had an option to "search the notes" (like search Description).

Communication task with a subtask
I want more... :o)
As for me, I in tasks comments write all history of development of tasks theme.
And in the sub-task I want to see (may be it's optional) all comments of task (non-written), link to attachment of task, and (may be) button to copy category flags from task to sub-task and then change this choice
The same for new task, who have dependence.
It's need, if I form task making parallel sub-tasks, some translate to another people and then control, with some working - and in every of tasks (sub-task) all history1 vote -
Create code for task and category
Dear the team,
I have a suggestion about create code for task and category: beside Subject and Description there is a new Code field. Program may generate it automatically at the creation (an auto increase number for example).
Then user has ability to choose the option to display Categories and Prerequisites as code instead of full text in the task list. I suggest setting this option as default at the first time of TaskCoach installation.
It will improve the display of those columns in current version of TaskCoach (1.3.17). Currently, most of information in Categories and Prerequisites columns is not…1 vote -
change mouse double click reaction
The mouse double click moves the current window forward. IMHO, it is not a standart action and it is sometimes confusing because you need to put this window back in its place. May be it would be better to change the reaction on the mouse double click to something else, for example, change this window dimensions to full view.

Make Overdue and Due Soon into true "states" for sorting purposes
Currently, only Active, Inactive, and Complete are considered for sorting when "sort by status first" is chosen.
I'd like an option where Overdue and Due Soon are also considered states for this purpose. Thus, Overdue should be at the top, then Due Soon, then Active, then Inactive, then Complete1 vote
