List vs Tree...works ? Navigation improvement....
I'm not able to view any difference between select view in list or tree....according to this....main panel showing all task, never are ordered according to tree structure, always are mixed. And the only way to view every subtasks are with a tick mark on the left tree panel over a task. After second click to unmark a task and select another one, most of the times, enable name of task to rename....

A full Android version of Task Coach, comparable to iOS version
I understand the problem, being a retired software designer, of too much code and too few coders.
I'm sure you would get a huge amount of support - even assistance in porting/-coding from the Android community. It is the fastest growing user-base, passing iPhone, as we all watch declining over-all desktop sales. There is no comparable program or app that covers all the bases for syncing, for the 21st century user. Thanks for your consideration, and I'm sorry for adding to a "closed" subject. Please take it in the spirit (the growth of Task Coach) of which it's offered.108 votesAdminAaron Wolf (Admin, Task Coach) responded
There is a way to access Task Coach items on Android through todo.txt format using the Free/Libre/Open app Simpletask
see here:
http://taskcoach.uservoice.com/forums/26480-other-task-coach-requests/suggestions/288896-support-for-accessing-task-coach-items-on-androidWe understand that is not the same as a full Android Task Coach app.
We will need someone to create a GPLv3+ licensed Android app for Task Coach in order to get a full client. Anyone interested in helping with this project should contact us and we’ll be happy to assist them.

Add basic interaction with HabitRPG
HabitRPG (https://habitrpg.com/) is a very simple task manager that treats the things you need to do as a todo list, and provides rewards for doing well, and punishments for doing poorly. It's quite useful for motivation. Here's an overview of how the site works. http://habitrpg.wikia.com/wiki/HabitRPG_Wiki
However, while it is quite effective at motivating people to do what they need to do, it is rather simplistic in the way it tracks todos/daily activities. I found Task Coach yesterday and I'm finding it suits my purposes well. But every task I put in Task Coach I have to either mirror…

migrate from hosting the source on Sourceforge to Github
This I believe will allow for more conversation and community involvement around the code and hopefully recruiting more developers. It will be tough changing processes and learning a new technology but I think worth it.
The pattern I have seen and used myself is to have Sourceforge handle the file hosting and distribution and Github hosting the source and version management with the possibility of using their wiki and issue tracking.

sell feature request votes
I have a ton of new ideas that I would like to see developed in Task Coach. I think it has promise to be so much more, and I really want to support it. I am not a programmer (though I've thought of learning), but I can eventually help with documentation, promotion, and other things.
But I want to see the project get more funding. And I want my new ideas (which I have yet to post — I'll try to organize and explain them clearly) implemented.
I think you should sell votes here. I'd like to donate $ anyway,…

Make a phpBB forum on the TaskCoach.org website instead of using Yahoo groups
Much better system overall, easier to see conversations, encourage community involvement, full html text, better aesthetic…
Or whatever other FLOSS forum that is adequate or better than phpBB…

Freshbooks or Basecamp data export
It would be really neat if I could export data from Task Coach to Freshbooks (or Basecamp), so I could use Task Coach to log the time, and then Freshbooks to invoice it.

sync with Producteev
titles says it all. Not much point only having to my tasks when I'm at home. Allowing sync to producteev would open possibilities to manage tasks on the go.

Report related tasks within 'Edit task'/Prerequisites
The Prerequisites tab in the 'Edit task' dialog box should list tasks that have been marked dependent or prerequisite. Currently, one needs to search through the entire list of tasks to find where one has ticked a task to be a prerequisite.
Searching for tasks one wants to relate is very intuitive in the current configuration, however searching for what was already related is not.7 votes -

Create a yum repository
Hi Frank,
could you perhaps create a yum repository on the download site, so that automated updates of TaskCoach can be done on Fedora ? (It should be easy, see http://yum.baseurl.org/wiki/RepoCreate ...)
Thanks, Petr
