migrate from hosting the source on Sourceforge to Github
This I believe will allow for more conversation and community involvement around the code and hopefully recruiting more developers. It will be tough changing processes and learning a new technology but I think worth it.
The pattern I have seen and used myself is to have Sourceforge handle the file hosting and distribution and Github hosting the source and version management with the possibility of using their wiki and issue tracking.

Sean, I really am too ignorant to form any opinion on this, but just checking: are you aware that SourceForge recently revised a lot of the system, and we recently migrated all the Task Coach stuff to the new system? I don't mean that this makes it any harder or more annoying to move to Github, but maybe the new SourceForge system offers promise to improve on the things where you are concerned?
If you know the answer one way or the other as to whether these updates are relevant or can otherwise clarify about pros and cons of such a switch, that perspective may be useful. Thanks!
