Using links so that other tasks can cross reference one another is a good idea and would work in tandem with the requests for each task to have a unique identifier number that would be auto generated by task coach ( and perhaps a second, user generated identifier number, to allow the cross referencing of Task Coach tasks to other software applications.
Thus a Task Coach task has a unique unchangeable number generated when a new task is created, which could act as a URL to itself, and a second text string ( alpha numeric ) that can be tagged onto the task by the user to cross reference to other software apps.
The above 'specification' sounds a little complicated but would satisfy and unify a number of requests. A URL to start with would be great, a second number under 'task properties' dialogue perhaps )
