Support for accessing Task Coach items on Android
Note from the Task Coach team: this item was updated to clarify some support for Android in some form. There is another request for a full Task Coach Android app, but we don't have the resources to do it, so it's more an issue of finding new team members who want to do the work of developing the app.
See the other request here:
https://taskcoach.uservoice.com/forums/26480-other-task-coach-requests/suggestions/2652582-a-full-android-version-of-task-coach-comparable-tBut voting on that won't do much, as we aren't capable of making this happen right now. Please do whatever you can to recruit developers for this. We would love to see it happen.

Using the free Simpletask app for Android (in Google Play or from F-Droid here: https://f-droid.org/repository/browse/?fdid=nl.mpcjanssen.simpletask ) you can edit your tasks on your Android device and then import them again in Task Coach. If you turn on automatic importing and exporting in the preferences dialog, Task Coach keeps its task file in sync with the accompanying todo.txt file. See the Help in Task Coach for more information.
The big advantage (for us ;-) of this solution is that Todo.txt (and the Todo.txt format) are open source as is the Simpletask app, so that developing Todo.txt integration was/is relatively easy to do.
Because Task Coach is developed by just two people (Jérôme and Frank) , developing and supporting another app in another programming language is simply not an option. That’s the main reason why I opted for integration with…

add inline editing
Takes relative long time to open a task, and too much mouse movements and clicks to edit relative simple properties.
Just selecting a task and type or dropdown in the main window would improve this4 votes -
stop using "she"
Using "she" as your exclusive pronoun is female-sexist, political and distracting from your purpose in communicating something. Using "he" exclusively is old-fashioned and oblivious but at least it's not political. Alternating "she" and "he" is very self-conscious and distracting from the point you're making. I find the best solution to be "they" which is becoming accepted even though grammar books might not like it! Or use more passive voice if you prefer.

Autostopping effort tracking when screensaver's on
It would be nice and more realistic, if when screensaver starts, time-tracking of all activities would stop automatically.
Since there are sorts of activities that can be on even when screensaver is running (e.g.: long installations), each item may have a checkboxed property showing if time-tracking of the item should be stopped or not when input devices are idle.
1 voteTurn on the “minimum idle time” feature in the “Features” tab of the preferences dialog.
