Thanks. To keep track of who is assigned which task, please create a category for each person and then put the task in the right category.

Task hierarchy templates
Very often I create tasks which have the same set of subtasks, so it would be very wonderful if TaskCoach has the possibility to create something like 'task hierarchy' templates. For example, every day I create the same set tasks with subtasks:
Task1 (new feature)
-- subtask 1 (developing)
-- subtask 2 (testing)
-- subtask 3 (release)It would save lots of time! Thanks!

Sync/Export in "ToDo.txt" format...
...as described by Gina Trapani in https://github.com/ginatrapani/todo.txt-cli/wiki/The-Todo.txt-Format
I don't despair yet of having my Blackberry-tablet-desktop sync'ed, but I don't like much web/mail sync, neither do I need it, as I still stay home several hours a week.
3 votesExporting and importing Todo.txt format is already possible.

possibility to see total income of subtasks on parent task
I'm using a methodology like gtd. And I'm planning my long time tasks as parent task. I divide this parent task to lots of short time sub tasks. I record my efforts on sub tasks and I want to see all my subtasks efforts total on their parent task.
1 voteThis is already possible. Make the revenue column visible in the task viewer. When a task with subtask is collapsed it shows to total revenue for itself and all of its subtasks (recursively).

Total/Tally-Up Effort Times
For a particular task, I would like to be able to have a total of all the effort I have expended on a task, either in the status bar or in a new column.
Thank you for your consideration,
BrendaEM1 voteThis is already possible. Make the timespent column visible in the task viewer.

Allow customisation of marking tasks completed.
At present, if all subtasks are completed the parent task is also marked complete. Make this behaviour optional - at present, I have to add an extra subtask 'complete' to each large project to make sure it doesn't fall off my to-do list by accident.

Effort Rounding - Option to Always Round UP
It would be great to have an option for the new Effort rounding feature to always round UP to the nearest increment specified. Otherwise, if the time spent on an effort is less than the specified increment, it appears that no time was spent. For example, suppose I have an effort on which I spent 6 min. The results are as follows:
Rounding Displays As
1min 0:06
5min 0:05
6min 0:06
10min 0:10
15min (or larger) [BLANK]But I could also see situations where a user who spent, say, 16 min. on an effort with 15min. rounding would want to…

Toggle tracking on standby OR Cli to start/stop tracking
Could you add a feature such that when the computer is put into standby it stops tracking the current task and upon resume begins tracking the current task.
If this is troublesome then would it be possible to create cli switches with the app such that i could call taskcoach.exe -tracking start and taskcoach.exe -tracking stop. With this I can set my own conditions for tracking etc using windows task scheduler.
Thanks

improve compatibility with outlook by ...
2 things that might improve compatibility with outlook:
Split the CVS field for dates (eg start date) to "date" and "time" (outlook asks how to import a CVS and wants 2 separate fields)
If a task has a start and a due date then presumably it can be seen as an "appointment", then label it in the icalendar file (ics) as VENENT rather than a VTODO. The due date should also be labeled as DTEND in order for this to work. VTODO is not recognised by outlook 2007 and earlier, mb even by outlook 2010 (I dont have it). I…
3 votesNr. 1 is available in the latest release. Nr. 2 is rejected. Tasks are best represented by VTODO. I don’t want to abuse a perfectly good standard to accomodate another tool.

show only "soon", "too late", etc.
It would be interesting to be able to hide the led in gray, but keeping the orange and/or red one as there are supposed to be done later while the others are due within few hours
