Prerequisites - Starting, Activating, Completing - Enhancing options
Currently it seems that tasks can only be started if prerequisite tasks have been completed. I think there should be more options to adapt the prerequisites/dependencies of tasks to other tasks - peer, parent and child.
An example. I have organised my studies in this format -
- My Course > 1.1. Year 1 >> 1.1.1. Semester 1 >>> 1.1.1.1. Unit A >>> 1.1.1.2. Unit B >>> 1.1.1.3. Unit C >> 1.1.2. Semester 2 >>> 1.1.2.1. Unit D etc > 1.2. Year 2 etc
Starting my course depends on my starting the first year, first semester and a unit.

Put in the toolbar / category a command to uncheck all categories checked to sort tasks

Only display tasks that belong to a checked category
This works now, but when you UNcheck all categories, it displays all tasks. I think it should display none, if you uncheck everything. This isn't a huge issue, but I think it's pretty annoying.

Make checkboxes keyboard checkable.
In most Windows apps, if you're tabbing through a dialog, inputting data, when you focus a checkbox, hitting Enter checks/unchecks the checkbox, then you can move on without having to get bogged down with a mouse. That would be a real timesaver here.

Automatically stop an effort on some predefined time
Hi,
soimetimes I spent time in meetings out of my office and go directly back home.
A predefined time for effort break could be set according to the presumed meeting duration, so that the recording is automatically stopped.
This functionality is inspired from a self-made similar application and was really useful sometimes.

Effort abortion
Hi,
sometimes a started effort reveals inefficient or spent time can be considered as lost (This must be rather quickly detected...!).
A button could be used to stop the initiated time consumptrion recording and delete the effort from the database.
This functionality is inspired from a self-made similar application and was really useful sometimes.

custom time unit to read effort duration in day or any reference period numerical equivalent
Hi,
It may be useful sometimes to read time consumption in day equivalent (a numerical unit duration is required, 7 hs for example) or some other reference period.
A conversion parameter with default value 1 should then be set.By the way this software is great and quite up to date (I worked for 12 years with a similar application, including this conversion parameter, it was self-made but finally became obsolete, this one helps me a lot).

taskcoach on a website
I would love to find a version of taskcoach that can be installed in a website. I search for such an application for a long time, and none of them reach the number of functionnality of taskcoach.
In particular, I found none of them allowing such a fine tuning of priorities.
PS : The sole idea behind that is to have some sort of collaborative TODO list, various persons having to solve the same list of TODO.

Basically a budget-cap for revenue.

Add Custom Fields to "Dates" tab
I think it would be great if we could add as many custom fields to the "Dates" tab as we wanted. For example, I would like to add an "Emailed Client" date.

Copy the description when replicating an Effort
Although I have about 130 Tasks, they are fairly general. I use the Effort Description field to further clarify the activity. As such, I'll start tracking on an existing Effort because the Description contains elements that may be repeated. Then I’ll copy / paste the Description from the previous Effort to the new Effort. It would be nice to see the entire previous Effort started replicated in its entirety, including the Description. Then I change the description as necessary with fewer keystrokes. I have Task Coach set up so that all I need is my mouse, except for the Descriptions.
