Please don’t use all caps, it means you’re shouting.
Also, this is already possible. Start tracking the first tasks normally. Then, right-click the second task and use “New effort” to create a effort for that second task. If you don’t enter a stop time, you’ll be tracking two tasks at a time.

Filter Indicator
I would like to have some type of icon or indicator in the Tasks window to indicate that a filter has been applied. I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure out why certain tasks weren't showing up and then I finally realized it was because I had a filter applied in the Categories window. When you apply a filter in Categories, it indicates that a filter has been applied in the status bar for that window, but the task windows don't have any such indication. I would like to see it in the status bar, as well as…
2 votesDONE. v. 1.3.21 has customizable toolbars and the “clear all filters” menu item is now a toolbar button which is present by default. When no filters are on, this will be grayed out, so you can quickly see whether filters are active!

change order of tabs
This is already possible, since I changed it inadvertently, but find myself unable to change it back..
I would like to change the order of the tabs (description, effort etc) in 'Edit task'. I can drag the tabs, but am unable to save this.2 votes -
calendar: show all hours instead of 8-17
When viewing your day in the calendar, it shows only the hours from 8 till 17. Some tasks are thus not shown when I try to get a daily overview. It would be nice if the whole day was shown, or to have an option to select the hours ourself.
2 votesYou can change the start and end hours of the day in the preferences (Features tab).

Remember "New task" window size
I have I large screen resolution, so that I would see every tab in this window. Unfortunately it doesn't store the last size, so that I have to resize it every time after opening it again. I need to do that because i often add noted by creation and need to go to the notes tab on the right.
2 votesRecent versions of Task Coach do this.

Add font attributes to the tasks status parameter
Add font attributes (Bold, Underline, Strikethrough, Size, Italic,…) to the tasks status parameter setting (Edit/Preferences/Colours).
2 votesYou can choose bold, italic, and size already. It’s just a matter of choosing those sorts of fonts from the system’s font selector.
I also already opened a bug-report about the strike-through option and getting it to work on Mac and Linux (I think it works on Windows already). Underline is missing, but we’re not going to add that at this time and I doubt too many people would want that. If it were requested separately and got lots of votes, we’d consider it.
Thanks for your request.

Don't reset attachment path
When adding an attachment to a task, every subsequent adding of an attachment defaults back to the installation path of taskcoach. This can be a bit annoying if you want to attach multiple files to a task. Ideally it should remember the last attachment path per task.
2 votesAvailable in release 1.2.26.

Filter by start date as well as by due date
I like to sit down in the morning and go through my list for the day, but things that have start times later in the day don't show up if I filter only "active" items, whereas if I don't, then I get bunches of things that I don't even plan to start for days. I'd like to be able to show, essentially, anything that will be active today, but it could also be useful to show things that will be active before tomorrow, this workweek, etc. (the same options in the filter by due date list, essentially).
2 votesThis is already possible with the menu option: View→Filter→Inactive tasks→Only show tasks starting today.

This is already possible. Simply save your task file to a folder that is synced by Dropbox and you’re done.

Will be fixed in the next version. Should have been a bug report though.

The merge functionality
It would be very interresting that this functionality allows to merge the efforts of the different tasks from one .tsk file to the current .tsk file.
Thank you very much for the very goog tool you build !1 voteThis functionality already is there. When you merge a taskfile, the effort is merged too.
Maybe I’m misunderstanding what you mean. In that case, open a new feature request and try to explain what you want with more words.
Thanks, Frank

Assignment to other person
It would be very helpfull (at least to me) to have an extra column which will describe to whom we have assigned the current task (e.g: to myself, to other colleague(s)). This way will remind us (more or less) whether we need/expect a feedback from another person(s) for each task. Something like Owner column of MS offices's Tasks
1 voteYou can easily do this right now, using categories. Simply create a category Person and a subcategory for each person you need to assign tasks to, e.g. Person→Mary, Person→Joe, etc.

Include alarm option in recurring tasks
For instance, I'm eating lunch. It's under my non-work time. I want to know when my hour is up.
1 voteSee comments below, in order of time from bottom to top. But overall summary is: you can do what you are asking.

URL Handling in Notes
Add capability that Notes can contain URL's in the format (alpha text)://(link) so that references to other applications can be inclued. Hand off app launching to the native platforem.
1 voteThis is already possible: add a URL in the notes’ description and it becomes clickable.

Be able to set the Effort required per task
I would liketo be able to set how much effort is required per task - then tasks appear as on the list depending on their lead time - rather than at a fixed X days notice.
1 voteThis is already possible. It´s called budget.

Complete button in task reminder
It would be great to have a "done" button in the task reminder window.

sys startup. minimized on close. same or better reminder and recurrence func as essential PIM
Task coach should start at system startup. I think this is not working in winxp professional. It should stay minimized on closing task coach window. It should have same or better evert/tass reminder and recurrence functionality as essential PIM. check out Essential PIM software.
1 voteFirst, please don´t combine different feature requests. Second, two of your requests already work. When installing, you get the option of automatically starting Task Coach when you log in to Windows. Also, you can control how Task Coach starts (minimized, not minimized, or how it was when you last closed it) by means of the preferences.
Thanks, Frank

I just discovered TC: good > like to switch between tabs with the keyboard > to much is mouseklick'n
Quite impressed but the amount of clicking should be drastically reduced. Also visually impaired people would love you to make TC steerable by keyboard.
Thank you!
1 voteGlad you like it. Switching tabs with the keyboard is already possible, using Ctrl-PgDn and Ctrl-PgUp.

Port to Mobile Phone to Sync tasks
I would like to have the ability to sync my tasks to my phone so I could carry my tasks around with me with my phone.
1 voteIf you have an iPhone you can already to that (look for Task Coach in the AppStore). If you have another type of phone this is a duplicate (look in the “other feature requests”).
