Hi! When a commitment is not maintained for x number of times you should see a window to explain the reasons and try to improve performance; feedbak a short! the program should bring this question: why do not you have kept the commitment? then chiccare on a series of options of answers. The responses can compile statistics that allows to understand the errors and reasons why it does not has kept the commitment. Thanks for listening.

I mean, a button that crates a task and start time traking at once.
That will include the time to write (and think) a title for the task and the rest of information(description, etc.) in the tracking.3 votes -

Basically a budget-cap for revenue.

Multiple active sort criteria (sort by, then by, th...)
Hey,
So I religiously believe in your task manager for my daily functions but i've always had one issue, the need to sort by priority then due date.
Using the logic that one should tackle tasks in this order Urgent + Important > Important > Urgent + Not-Important > Not-Important you should be able to understand the request.
If i had only three priority levels (1-3), 1 being the highest, then i'd want to tackle all the 1's first but first by which one is due soonest, then the 2's again by which one is due soonest, and then if…

Copy the description when replicating an Effort
Although I have about 130 Tasks, they are fairly general. I use the Effort Description field to further clarify the activity. As such, I'll start tracking on an existing Effort because the Description contains elements that may be repeated. Then I’ll copy / paste the Description from the previous Effort to the new Effort. It would be nice to see the entire previous Effort started replicated in its entirety, including the Description. Then I change the description as necessary with fewer keystrokes. I have Task Coach set up so that all I need is my mouse, except for the Descriptions.

Iconize main window when closed
When in a hurry, I may hit the close button (of Task Coach), instead of the minimize button (of Task Coach), this looses any and all use of having Task Coach, unless it being turn-off is discovered soon, if discovered it off too late, tasks that depend on time may be overlooked and become invalid, a missed opportunity, or missed opportunities, to have Task Coach be effective.

add a column "effort by day".
Similar to the task effort dialog window but in the main window. This would allow the effort by day to be exported but keep the Time Spent Tally.

icloud
It would be great if the mobile did sync using icloud. Bonjour requires being on the same network, most work environments have separate wireless and wired networks so it will not work... Also some people use it for work and personal whereby syncing is more complex keeping things up to date at all locations.

Allow control of the interaction between date/status filters and category filters
The specific use case for which I would like this capability is related to the interaction between a 'Next action' category and the 'Due soon' status. I have a lot of 'Due soon' tasks, some of which have a category of 'Next action', whereas most do not. I would like to select the 'Hide due soon tasks' filter and select the 'Next action' category and see all of my next action tasks, even if they are due soon (especially if they are due soon).

Single click to change a categorie (e.g when alt pressed deselect other categories)
I often switch between categories.
In this I de-select one category, and select another one.It would be nice to be able to alt-click (or some key) a category and this category would be selected and the other categories would be de-selected.

Dock task coach as sidebar
Hi, as a true Task Coach enthusiast I switch a lot between pretty detailed tasks. For instance, when I am working at customer 1 and receive a phonecall from customer 2, I switch tasks and back again.
To me it would be very useful if i could dock Task Coach as a sidebar to my screen so it is always visible and other programs (even when set full screen) would adjust to the available space next to it.

Display Progress as Progressbar
Hi,
I thought that it might be helpful if the user could look at the task list, and visually see what needs attending to. The column for progress can show the numerical percentage superimposed on a progressbar. It would also be helpful of the progress bar colors for both completed and uncompleted could chosen as a preference, so that the user could choose warning colors for uncompleted if they want.

Notes & other description fields support rich text
Actually, rich text is a proprietary format. What we really want is just to have the description fields support things like bold, italic, headers, bullets, tables, and embedded images. Some other alternatives like Markdown format / HTML would be fine if accessible buttons are available or there's a WYSIWYG mode.
